Thank you, Jordan! I got pretty much …enlightened! Now that I know there’s no particular sense behind the whole thing, I have to revise my entire outlook!

now, wait...Luigi didn't actually SAY there's no particular sense to the thing. read his statements again.

I didn’t really mean “the whole thing”, just the text. Now we know its words only “give the impression of real words and a kind of syntax”. But even now I can’t give up the delusive feeling that we are dealing with A LANGUGE.
The Codex study from the linguistic aspect has been and remains an exciting quest for a black cat in a dark room. But now we do know the cat isn’t there.

i meant the text too. Yenisey, he *didn't SAY* that the text *ONLY gives the impression* of a real language * while not actually being one*. he DIDN'T say that outright. so we *could* still actually be dealing with one. i point this out because on at least one other occasion he has said on no uncertain terms that it is a real language (i'll try to find the relevant document and post a link).

in any event, should it comes to pass that he clearly states that the script IS NOT part of a real language...it shouldn't stop someone from having the fun of creating a language (or trying to) to go with the script!
